ZEvA is active in the field of quality assurance and development of teaching and learning. Our service portfolio includes formalised assessment procedures such as accreditation and certification as well as audits and evaluations with a focus on quality development. We also offer comprehensive consultancy services. Of course, all assessments are based on the European Standards and Guidelines.

Appeals and complaints

Appeals against all formal decisions of ZEvA (e.g. accreditation decisions or evaluation reports) can be lodged up to four weeks after the decision has been served. In addition, there is the possibility of filing complaints regarding the course of proceedings or the professional conduct of those involved in the proceedings. These are submitted to ZEvA's Appeals Commission, which formulates a proposal for a decision to the ZEKo or SEK.
