CeQuInt-Certification of the BFI University of Applied Sciences in Vienna

Together with an international expert group, ZEvA visited the BFI University of Applied Sciences in Vienna in June 2022 to certify three study programmes according to the CeQuInt standards and criteria. CeQuInt stands for Certificate for Quality in Internalisation. The certificate confirms that the three study programmes

• Bachelor programme in "European Economy and Business Management" (B.A.),
• Master's programme in "Quantitative Asset and Risk Management" (M.A.) and
• Master’s Programme "International Banking and Finance" (M.A.)

have successfully integrated an international and intercultural dimension into the purpose, function and delivery of the degree programmes.

The certification was carried out and approved in a first step by the ZEvA Commission in November 2022 on the basis of a CeQuInt-compliant report. In a second step, this result was confirmed by the European Consortium for Accreditation (ECA) at the beginning of February 2023 and the BFI Vienna University of Applied Sciences now also receives the CeQuInt certificates for its three international programmes. The expert group and the ZEvA officer, Dagmar Ridder, look back with pleasure on the constructive exchange and lively discussions with the university last June.
